Client

PA Singapore (via Swiftsense Partnership)

Location

Singapore

Task

IoT Platform Development, Power Monitoring, Smart Plug Integration, Appliance Identification, Consumption Analytics, Notification System

Industrial IoT (IIoT) smart home solution developed for government-built residences in Singapore as part of strategic partnership with Swiftsense Singapore.

The comprehensive platform monitors real-time power consumption of household appliances using smart plugs with intelligent appliance identification and naming capabilities.

Advanced features include abnormal consumption detection, automated notifications, and monthly consumption projections to help residents optimize energy usage.

Problems

Government-built residences in Singapore lacked visibility into household energy consumption patterns, making it difficult for residents to manage electricity costs and optimize usage.

Without real-time monitoring and appliance-level insights, residents could not identify high-consumption devices or detect abnormal energy usage that might indicate malfunction or wastage.

Traditional energy bills provided only monthly aggregated data without actionable insights or tools for proactive energy management.

Solutions

Smart Plug Integration - Connected household appliances through IoT-enabled smart plugs for real-time monitoring

Appliance Identification System - Automated detection and classification of connected devices

Custom Naming & Organization - User-friendly interface for labeling and categorizing appliances
