This innovative tool enables radiologists to make minimalistic, incremental adjustments to freehand ROI drawings with unprecedented precision and ease of use. Built on the DICOM image viewer using React.js and Cornerstone.js components, the tool provides an intuitive interface for fine-tuning cardiac boundaries, which are then used for calcification calculations essential to accurate cardiac diagnosis.
The project exemplified exceptional engineering agility when clinical feedback revealed the previous tool was not user-friendly, threatening the clinical trial timeline.
