LYFEBIN is a comprehensive cloud-based medical image sharing application that revolutionizes healthcare communication by enabling seamless image sharing between patients and doctors, as well as doctor-to-doctor consultations.

Built with modern web technologies (Node.js backend, Vue.js frontend, MySQL database) and hosted on AWS infrastructure, the platform provides secure online viewing, reporting capabilities, and real-time collaboration features.

The application ensures full HIPAA compliance while supporting both DICOM and non-DICOM images, making it versatile for various medical specialties including cosmetic surgery. With integrated Twilio video conferencing, teleconsultation booking, and Firebase-powered secure chat features, LYFEBIN creates a complete ecosystem for modern healthcare delivery.

The Challenge

Healthcare providers and patients faced significant challenges in sharing medical images securely and efficiently. Traditional methods were slow, insecure, and often required physical media transfer.
